Peppermint essential oil is appreciated for its invigorating, stimulating and digestive properties. Its peppery smell and cold effect make it one of the most commonly used essential oils.
Used as a condiment, as well as in ornament or phytotherapy, peppermint has been an indispensable since antiquity. It is not for nothing that this essential oil with a delicate smell is one of the essentials of aromatherapy. Its leaves with an unparalleled fragrance are harvested by hand from May to August, before being slowly distilled into this precious organic essence**, 100% pure and natural.
Peppermint essential oil has many virtues that make it particularly versatile! Refreshing, stimulating and analgesic, it also has a beneficial influence on the digestive system, immunity and respiratory tract.
Be careful, however, because this essence, although very common, is very powerful and must be used with caution.
To relieve headaches and migraines
Peppermint essential oil is famous for its “refreshing” side. Applied pure on the temples, it gives off a feeling of cold that soothes. It would be ideal in case of headaches and migraine.
To help clear the airways
Peppermint essential oil has a strong decongestant action. Breathed pure, it would help to temporarily relieve nasal congestion and is therefore ideal in case of cold or stuffy nose.
To relieve digestion and nausea
This essential oil as versatile as power would have an antispasmodic and digestive action. It would thus help relieve feelings of nausea and digestive problems such as bloating or spasms.
To reduce temporary fatigue and promote concentration
Peppermint is a stimulant of the body and mind. Used in diffusion, its refreshing and stimulating fragrance would fight against mental fatigue. In case of a long day of work or a long car ride for example, you can use this essential oil in a diffuser or simply soak a few drops on a handkerchief or fabric.
Organic peppermint essential oil can be used in different ways. Here are a few examples:
- As a nasal decongestant: breathe deeply 3 to 4 times the bottle of peppermint essential oil
- As an anti-migraine remedy: apply 1 drop of peppermint essential oil to your temples and massage using your fingers
- As a nerve stimulant: soak a tissue or cloth with a few drops of mint essential oil
- To flavor your dishes (1 to 2 drops are enough!)

Take a maximum of 5 drops per day diluted in a teaspoon of honey, vegetable oil or sugar. 150mg/day.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
1 to 2 drops to be deposited on a neutral support (sugar, honey, bread crumb).
You can apply 1-2 drops in local application on the affected area.
For adults and children over 6 years of age, pour a few drops into an atmospheric diffuser, respecting the broadcast limit (often 1/4 hour). Be careful, this essential oil is very powerful, always dilute it so as to obtain an oil concentration that does not exceed 3%.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product cannot replace a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep children out of reach. Keep the bottle closed in a cool place and away from the light. Do not use in children under 6 years of age and pregnant or lactating women. Do not use for a long time (plus 14 days). Not recommended in case of a history of convulsion or neurological pathology.
Seek advice from a health care professional in case of obstruction of the bile ducts (stones), gastroesophageal reflux, or hepatopancreatic disorders.
