Also called “tea of the woods” or “Wintergreen”, the essential oil of Gaulthérie has been known in herbal medicine since the dawn of time. The Amerindians used it against pain and fever. Even today, wintergreen is an essential part of any good aromatheque that respects itself!

Wintergreen essential oil owes its soothing and analgesic virtues to its richness in methyl salicylate, a powerful and 100% natural active ingredient. Its properties make it essential for muscle and joint comfort. This essential oil is traditionally used in preparations, for local application and for external use.

To relieve muscles and joints

The essential oil of wintergreen is ideal for local application after a sports session. It helps to soothe the skin and muscles, but also to prevent and relieve body aches. Added to a vegetable oil such as arnica macerate, and applied in massage, it acts in depth and soothes the body after a sports session.

To relieve blows and bumps

The soothing and natural analgesic properties of wintergreen essential oil are ideal for calming the small bumps of everyday life, blows, bruises and bumps.

Use tip:

External use, to be diluted in vegetable oil or oily macerate. Dilute to a maximum of 0.5% or 10 drops per 100ml of vegetable oil. Apply locally as a massage by mixing to moisturize and relax your skin after exercise.

Dermal

For external use only, dermal. Irritating, always use diluted to 10% in vegetable oil or oily macerate.

0.5% maximum = 10 drops per 100 ml of vegetable oil.

Do not apply to the face. Do not use pregnant or lactating women under the age of 7. Do not use pure.
Do not use in people allergic to aspirin and salicyle derivatives.
Do not use in people with epilepsy. Do not continue use in the event of a skin reaction.
Do not apply to eyelids or eye areas.
Keep the bottle closed in a cool place and away from the light.
Keep children out of reach.
